Tideholm

Milestone 2: rival nations. The sea is hidden in fog. Find islands, found colonies, and raise your people from Pioneers all the way to Aristocrats — before the other seafaring powers do.

Rivals Difficulty Opponents Seed

Sail and settle. Click your ship, click the sea to sail. Build a Warehouse on a beach to found a colony.
Roads matter. Every workplace and house must be connected by road to your warehouse or a market place. Carts carry the goods you see them carry.
Three materials. Buildings cost wood, bricks (quarry + stonemason), and tools. Houses consume them to advance.
Farms need fields. Drag fields next to farms and plantations. Plantations only grow where the island's fertility allows.
Advance the old way. Pioneers want cloth, a chapel, and a market. Settlers want tobacco or spices, liquor, a tavern, and a school. Citizens want cocoa, a church, and public baths. Merchants want jewelry, clothes, a college, and a theatre.

New buildings unlock at population milestones (shown on each locked item). Drag to pan, scroll or pinch to zoom, R rotates, Space pauses. Autosaves every minute.

Goals

Rival nations

Standing runs from −100 to +100 and drifts back toward neutral. Gifts raise it; settling next to a rival's colony lowers it. A trade treaty needs +30, an alliance +75. Aggressive nations declare war below −40 (fleets and armies arrive in a later milestone).

A thriving realm

Aristocrats stroll your squares and every goal is complete. Keep building as long as you like.
